We are now back open fully from 9.00am until 8.00pm every day!
You can still choose to pre-order takeaway food in advance, pay by card and then pick it up at an agreed collection time. This can be done by phoning us each day between 9am and Midday, after which time it becomes too busy for staff to answer the phone whilst serving.
Giacopazzi’s Information for Visitors September 2020
In light of the new hospitality sector statutory guidance implemented on Monday 14th September and in order to continue to protect our staff and make our visitors feel safe, please follow our new policies below:
- Queue Management
In line with government guidelines, we have the following queue management system in place:
Dining-in customers – please use the side entrance (Oblò Bar & Bistro’s door on Manse Road)
Takeaway Hot Food – please follow 2 metre queue markers whilst waiting outside our main door to order and collect and maintain social distancing at all times
Ice Cream customers – please order at window hatch and follow signs for separate ice cream queue and maintain social distancing at all times
Please remember we are situated on a busy road so highway code must be followed
- Face Coverings
Please wear a face mask or covering at all times whilst moving about in our premises, unless you are exempt from wearing one.
- Mandatory collection of customer/visitor contact details to support Test and Protect
On entering our premises to dine with us in our restaurant you will be asked to provide your details. We will ask for the name and contact number of the lead person in your party for the Track & Trace system.
Booking ahead to dine with us is preferred and essential during peak times. Pre-booked tables will be given priority with walk-ins taken where possible, whilst not exceeding capacity. During very busy times we will need to place a time limit on table bookings.
- Limits to households mixing indoors
The current limit for one table booking is 6 people from a maximum of 2 different households. You may be reminded of these limits when making your booking and staff reserve the right to refuse a booking should they be concerned that by taking the booking the limits would be exceeded.
- Noise control: loud behaviour
We will no longer be playing background music in our premises to discourage the need for customers and staff to have to raise their voice or get close to another person to be heard. Any customers starting to raise their voice or shout will be challenged by staff.
- One metre physical distancing
Please remember you are entering a 1 metre physical distancing zone when you visit our premises. Please ensure you remain at least 1 metre from the next customer unless from the same household or a carer.
- Cleaning and hygiene arrangements
Please sanitise your hands on entering our premises at the stations provided and regularly wash your hands during your visit.
Please do not visit us if you are displaying any of the recognised Corona Virus symptoms namely, a persistent cough, high temperature or loss of taste and or smell.
Thank you in advance for your co-operation and understanding.
